ARE HOMES SALES UP

There has been a lot of talk in the media lately that home sales and home prices are on the rise. Is this true for San Clemente as well? Here are some statistics:

In the 92672 zipcode comparing week to week starting 1/27/08:
Sales have doubled, the number of homes for sale is 1/2 of what is was, and the average price per square foot is down 14%

In the 92673 zipcode comparing week to week starting 1/27/08:
Sales and inventory are staying pretty consistant and the average price per square foot has only dropped 2%
