NORTH BEACH PARKING

As you may have read in our blog yesterday, there are many plans for the future of North Beach. If the Miramar Theater is renovated, The Lab’s commercial village comes to fruition, the Casino Project gets under way and the Gallery multi-use project goes in where will people park?

The city is paying Nelson/ Nygaard Consulting Associates, of San Francisco, $107,616 to prepare a master plan to make sure there is ample, easy parking. 40 people participated Saturday in a public workshop to air out ideas that could go into a forthcoming parking master plan for North Beach.
