MARBLEHEAD CONSTRUCTION RESUMES

Construction will resume today on the Marblehead site, focusing on the concrete pour for the Avenida Vista Hermosa Bridge. Several weeks ago, the City of San Clemente threatened to sue SunCal for non-completion of the site.

The concrete pour started this morning at approximately 4:00 a.m. and will take 18-20 hours.

Due to the depressed housing market, SunCal has had to re-organize their financial backing and pull off the schedule due to changing housing market projections. There is tremendous pressure from both the City and the developer of the commercial site to continue with the schedule despite these financial constraints.
